The idea of 11 musicians playing together emerged on that tour at Tours’ Festival Rayons Frais where they were invited to play at the 4 corners of Tours’ Castle courtyard. This turned into ‘LA COLONIE DE VACANCES’, a quadraphonic sound system, throwing the audience in the center of a musical ping-pong game played by two, three or four teams. This has been turned into a 10″ vinyl + a 100 illustrated pages book.
The vinyl – titled Concentric Grooves – is a very specific one because it is readable in multi-grooves. The concept was borrowed from Monty Python’s album Matching Tie and Handkerchief from 1973. It was mastered with two concentric grooves on side two so that different material would be played depending on where the stylus was put down on the record’s surface.
1 THEME, 4 VARIATIONS, each interpreted by random members
It will be released on 22 April, Disquaire Day
on KYTHIBONG and MURAILLES MUSIC and SUPER LOTO EDITIONS (F)

He said the sound is reminiscent of early Wipers, Chrome, The Spits, Suicide, a bit like My Bloody Valentine (well just the guitars) on a few tracks and sometimes like power pop bands recorded incorrectly.
And even more like his fellow Australian TV Colours. Same feeling.
Here is a fine shoegaze one, bit like My Bloody Valentine

was formed in 1997 by Matador Records employees and a record collector for jamming. Initially having no plans to record or to tour. POWER has been started when three HC/Punk musicians, Penky, Slimy, and Isaac shared their mutual love of the Australian psychedelic hard rock blues group Coloured Balls while sitting in a beer garden during a Melbourne punk show. Right after they started a new band to play in that raw pub rock style as Coloured Balls and others did it in the early 70s. First POWER album Electric Glitter Boogie was released on Cool Death Records in 2015. Re-release out now by In The Red Records (US)

but what is Taos Humm, id est Taos Hum?

It is an Anglo-Swiss-Danish punk-jazz outfit on alto & tenor saxophones and drums. The band was founded in Finnland, but based in Manchester. They relate their sense of energy to the 1980s British punk scene, with an approach to sound inspired by Ornette Coleman and a compositional style frequently drawing inspiration from 20th Century contemporary music. They have released a great album in 2013 on Efpi Records. On it you can find a strange cover song, maybe it will be familiar
Anyway, the Danish saxplayer Mette Rasmussen is a member of Fire! Orchestra, extended band of Mats Gustafsson.
