„Beta Frontiers is the soundtrack to a near-future physical video game where your shoes are hovercrafts and you actually make it to all the parties in one night. When you get there, everyone is like, “Hey Mike!!”, as beamy smiles melt into your now-hologrammed dancing body.” (Anamai, ambient folk artist, label mate)

The Lemons (of Chicago with John Lemon) are under inlfuence Silly Symphonies, Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies and play nice, seriously stupid and stupidly serious „candy-coated bubble pop that everyone calls “jangly” but we wanna be creative and call them “skippy.” Teen Runnings are the Beach Boys of the Japanese Sea.

One of the two key members is the bassist Barbara Lehnhoff, with whom you can read an interview with reference to her amazing electronic side project, Camilla Sparksss here. Peter Kernel was formed because there was need of a soundtrack for her film.

Audacity is rather a power pop band than a garage punk. But in their early times they were a real great garage punk band. Their lost and found first recordings from 2007 are out now.

It’s a seven musician ensemble from Torino. The sound is built on two guitars, two basses, one clarinet, one synth, several effects, drums and percussions. It has started as a solo project of Gianni Giublena Rosacroce (clarinet, percussions) who is an alter-ego of Stefano Isaia, the singer of blues rock and roll band Movie Star Junkies.
CRETIN STOMPERS are from Memphis, members of Jay Retard Band, Barbaras, Wavves, Big Muff Radio. Their debut album „Looking Forward To Being Attacked” is out now on Hozac Records (US).

Garage – sure, rock – naturally, punk – of course. Not raw or hard, but simple and sweetly rough, sometimes psychedelic, with drum machine and nice Japanese pop style vocal and tunes, with covers from The Styrenes and Dave Brock (Hawkwind). Sometimes turns into chaos. Vivid. Cretin. A-ha, oh yeah.

Strange 80s style synth-pop, or a goth mix of Depeche Mode and New Order, or like the Hungarian synth-pop wonder, Új Látásmód Fúzió. Previous records were released by such little cult labels as Night-People, Dark Entries and Crash Symbols

Boyracer and Wedding Present are written than their forebears. I don’t know, but it’s a good jangly noisy fuzzy indie pop song

Electronic band Borghesia was formed by members of an alternative theater group in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia (today Slovenia) in 1982. In the early times their music was influenced by new wave, electro-pop, disco and EBM. Then they took a more EBM direction. Their records were released by influential, then industrial and EBM specialist Play It Again Sam Records. Borghesia stop its activities around 1995 and came back in 2009. As a theatrical multi-media project, and also musically they show some similarities with Laibach. And vice versa.
