Chaotic but melodic garage punk rock and roll with a little power pop edge. Their records were released on such labels as Burger, Suicide Squeeze, Volar or Goodbye Boozy Records. Their shows are incredible experience of rock and roll.
Kyle Gibson: As a kid I remember seeing my sister’s boyfriend’s Damned Damned Damned record and being intrigued by the wild looking people on the cover. Also my sister had an X Ray Spex shirt and came home from college with a computer with a bunch of songs by The Stooges, Buzzcocks, and Bikini Kill on her computer. That was when I felt a cool personal connection to bands/music. So really a computer and t shirts made me want to play music.

They were the fashionable rocker King Tuff backing band
By King Tuff they succeeded get into the toilet of Jack White (White Stripes, owner of Third Man Records). Matt said: Once we were at Third Man Records recording with King Tuff and Jack White’s toilet was really nice and it just stood out to me just as, like, a really nice toilet… it was just super beautiful, and I’ve always looked up to Jack White a lot. But when I saw his successful toilet I felt nothing but pure envy and jealousy because I wanted that nice of a toilet to sit on everyday, when I should have been like, “Oh wow this is over the top.” So I went back and told Thomas and we both pooped in it.

Audacity Euro Tour: Aug 28 – Sept 27: Germany, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, UK

Audacity is rather a power pop band than a garage punk. But in their early times they were a real great garage punk band. Their lost and found first recordings from 2007 are out now.
„Juva Jive” 10″ EP and digital on Cut-Rate, cassette on Burger Records (USA). The best Audacity album forever.

Italian psychedelic rock band La Piramide di Sangue loves you in oriental mood
„Sette” LP and digital on Boring Machines (Italy)
It’s a seven musician ensemble from Torino. The sound is built on two guitars, two basses, one clarinet, one synth, several effects, drums and percussions. It has started as a solo project of Gianni Giublena Rosacroce (clarinet, percussions) who is an alter-ego of Stefano Isaia, the singer of blues rock and roll band Movie Star Junkies.
„the Primitive Calculators were always outsiders in Melbourne’s punk scene”

The Primitive Calculators are really great synth-punk band from Australia. They have started in 1978, in same place and same time than the Birthday Party. After a single they relocated to London, in same time than the Birthday Party, and promptly broke up in 1980. But there was a post-split-up single under the name of Zye Ye Ye in England in 1981. The sole album was released in 1980. It’s a live recording of a gig supporting the Boys Next Door in 1979. The Boys Next Door was renamed to Birthday Party.
They would be discovered in the early 2000s. Their records were reissued together with unreleased live and other recordings. Then they have reformed in 2009. A new single was released in last year. And now here is the first studio album!

My opinion is that Audacity is not so good as popular. Others say that Audacity is not so popular as good. The meaning of two sentences is same: they stand before shiny future. Garage punk from Fullerton, CA.
