Újabb két 2022-es lemezről – Sörnäinen, Weird Omen
Sörnäinen : Keskity Puhuuteen (Svart Records) 2022
A Sörnäinen bemutatkozó 12″-es kislemezén szereplő négy arcból kettő biztos ismerős annak, aki valamennyire is képben van az RNR666 koncertszervező tevékenységével. Jukka (ének) és Japa (dob) ugyanis a Black Magic Six brutal-blues duo tagjai is így kettecskén. Ők már olyan 16-17 koncertet elcsepegtettek az évek során hazánkban RNR666/Fődalatti szervezésben.
A gitáros, Joonatan Kotila számomra ismeretlen, de Tapio Wilska már koránt sem! Ő már megfordult a Garay téri hadiszállásunkon mint a BM6 sofőrje. Ott derült ki, hogy ő volt a finn viking-Metal zenekar a Fintroll első énekese! Emlékszem kurvasokat kerestem a 90-es évek végén a lemezüket, mert valahol azt olvastam róluk, hogy a polkát keverik a Death Metal-al. Na, de nem lényeges ez. Az viszont biztos, hogy ő a zenekar nemzetközileg is legismertebb tagja. A Sörnäinen 2014-ben alakult, Jukkán, Jappán és Papa Wilskán kívül két, azóta kivált taggal. A stílus már akkor egyfajta country rock / RnR volt finn nyelven, nagyon finnesen! Kocsmai sztorizgatások férfiak között. Részegen, záróra környékén. Ilyen számcímek: A Sátánnak semmi sem elég, Koncentrálj a Gonoszra, Nem fogsz visszajönni, Összeesküvés elmélet. Elég jó, nem? Helsinkiben akarok kóvályogni a kikötőben nagyon besörözve, szívem felett egy laposüveg pálinkával, fejemen fülhallgató, az mp3 lejátszóban ez az album! Elvileg idén nagylemez!

A francia dob(ének)/gitár(ének)/bariton szaxofon trio olyan tömény garage-fuzzz, primitive-beat, 60’s HARDpsychedelic súlyosságot tesz itt le két rövidke szám erejéig, hogy beszarás!
Nekem elsőre fel sem tűnt a szaxofon, úgy magával vitt az egésznek a lendülete! The Cramps és a Catholic Spray ugrott be és az, hogy ez szerintem Lavórnak mennyire tetszene! Hótbebaszva, RNR666 Buliban! A ‘B’ oldalon feldolgozzák a Joy Division legpunkabb számát a Warsaw-t! Beast Records minőség nem kétséges!

Két új finn lemez! (Sons Of Cobra, The Boogie Mooses)
Sons Of Cobra : City Of Pain / Outsider (Ghost Highway Rec. / 2021)
Új finn zenekar, régi arcoktól. Az énekes már a 80-as években nyomult egy finn hard core bandában, de a többiek is a Helsinki RnR életének aktív tagjai régóta, a power poptól a rockabillyig összevissza. Ezen a 7″-es kislemezen két szám van. Két kurvajó szám! Hangulatra mindkettő teljesen 70-es évek Detroit proto punk mint a Sonic’s Rendezvous Band (MC5, Stooges, The Up zenészek bandája) vagy az ausztrál Radio Birdman, Bored!
Szóval ez a jó dögös Punk RnR fasza szólókkal, jó énektémákkal. Nekem az első számot hallgatva is volt egy kis Turbonegro érzésem és a másik oldalon az Outsider végén el is hangzik az ” Outside(r) of soceity ” szinte ugyanúgy, ahogy Turbonegroék énekelték annak idején a Denim Demon-ban. Elvileg idén kijön az első nagylemez, én kurvára várom és bármikor jöhetnének egy fasza RNR666 Buliba Budapestre!

Kiadójuk a Ghost Highway Recordings is megérdemel két mondatot. Madridi cég rengeteg kiadvánnyal (többnyire 7″) punk/RnR/garage vonalon: Jack Oblivian, Skip Jensen, Bloodshot Bill, Die Zorros (Beat-Man poénzenekara) Electric Frankensein, Hipbone Slim stb…. Plusz nagyon érdekes feldolgozásalbumokat adnak ki a Dead Boystól,Ramonestől, Motörheadtől és van egy sub-labeljük KÜLÖN The OBLIVIANS feldolgozásoknak!!!!!!
The Boogie Mooses : She Knows The Night (Kalansilma Records / 2021)
A finn banda 70-es évekbeli Heavy Rockot játszik a Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Lynyrd Skynyrd hagyományait követve. A címadó szám ennek megfelelően totál Iomi gitártémára épül, de az ének miatt én hallok bele egy kis Candlemass-t is, mondjuk mindkét említett zenekarnál lazább, nyugisabb a hangulat itt.
A másik oldalon egy feldolgozás, a Sweet zenekar Man from Mecca című száma 1972-ből. Elég jó, de nekem a saját dal jobban tetszik. Idén jön ki az első nagylemezük. A két gitáros amúgy ilyen viszonylag ismertebb metal bandákban nyomult mint a To/Die/For meg az Omnium Gatherum, a ritmusszekció meg pl. a Mr. Catfish Band-ben meg a The Mutants-ben. Ez utóbbiban Japa volt a dobos a Black Magic Six előtt!

Some people say: it’s Howlin’ Wolf with Venom, others say: just like The Stooges, Dead Kennedys or AC/DC.

RNR666: When, where and WHY did BM6 form?
Yukka (g/v): Black Magic Six was found 2006, but we count our birthday form the first gig 14.2.2007 in Chemnitz.
Why we put up the band?
Maybe we were just bored, hehehe.
I heard originally a lot more people were going to play in the band. Would the band’s name really have been J- Tan & the Black Magic Six? And so would there have been seven of you in the band? How did you finally become a duo?
That´s true. Originally we had some dudes from Damn Seagulls, The Mutants and Disgrace playing in rehearsals, but pretty soon we realized non of these guys came to rehearsals. Then there was just me and Japandeer in rehearsal room. I went to local music store and bought distortion pedal and octabass pedal and the sound of BM6 was there.
Jukka, what’s the deal with your other band, the Disgrace? I found an issue of the Hungarian Metal Hammer zine from 91 or 92, and they were already writing about you! (They also wrote about Japa’s old band’s – Sweetheart – demo at about the same time)
Well, I started playing heavy metal when I was kid late 80s. We played grindcore & death metal couple of years and got bored pretty soon. We started to play straight punkrock until last year. The band ceased all activities January 2015.
This is the seventh time you are visiting Hungary, and you are playing here since your first album. How did you get to know people here?
We were counting sixth time, but you are probably right, ´cos we are old sods and it´s hard to remember what happened yesterday. The basic reason for our tourin’ was Myspace. When we put our music there 2006-2007 we got shit loads of response all over the world – also Pali from Hungary. People asked us to play all over the world, so we did – and still do that, even though Myspace is pretty dead.
What is the first thing that comes to your mind about Hungary? If I am not mistaken, besides Budapest you also played in Debrecen, Szolnok and Miskolc.
We haven´t played Debrecen yet, but gonna do that this Friday. First thing coming my mind from Hungary is the venue in Miskolc and how the guys did the load into the venue. It was in basement, there was a window about three meters high from the floor – and this tall guy took shaky ladder, and guys upstairs gave him big Marshall cabinets thru window – and this dude single handed took Marshalls in his lap, on shaky ladder and took them down one by one. That was scary shit…
You know Hungary pretty well (besides the region west of the Danube). How were these gigs outside of the capital?
Loved to play in Szolnok and Miskolc. Especially Tomi Pub from Szolnok is always in our hearts. Friendly people, good atmosphere, drunk and having a hell of a party!
You have a song called “Imre you are a punk’”about Imre Antal (RIP), the unforgettable Hungarian TV personality. What is the story behind this – how does a Finnish band know about Imre Antal?

Akik magyarországi tapasztalataikat egy mondatba sűrítve így foglalták össze: „Ha mi annyit innánk mint ti, már rég halottak lennénk.” Finnország hivatalos trash-blues-punk bandája Eredetileg – ahogy a nevük mutatja – 6 tagú zenekarnak indult, viszont G-Tan (gitár) és az isteni Lew Sifferr (dob) kivételével a többiek elfelejtették látogatni a próbákat.
A BM6 hangzásában egyesek szerint a legendás blues énekes- gitáros, Howlin’ Wolf és a black metal alapító atyja, a Venom ötvöződik. Mások Iggy Pop zenekarához, a Stoogeshoz, a Dead Kennedyshez vagy az AC/DC- hez hasonlítják őket. Az együttes szerint azonban ezek téves megállapítások, mert úgy szólnak ők, ahogy egy sátáni mestermű keveredik Sztálin orgonáinak hangjaival és egy Kallio béli farkasember üvöltésével. Kallio Helsinki bohém negyede. Ahol a J- Tan és Lew Siffer szomszédságában Finnország elnök asszonya, Tarja Halonen is élt, mielőtt közkívánatra átköltözött az egyik hivatalos elnöki rezidenciába, Mäntyniemibe. Mindkét est meghívott vendége a HARP EXPLOSION one-man band Horvátországból, Vinkovic városából, ami történetesen Kőbánya testvérvárosa. Iggy énekes / szájharmonikása volt a Thee Knuckleheads nevű igen jó garage bandának, de 2009 ota magányosan nyomja a blues punkot. Nincs gitár, nincs dob, szájharmonika van, meg loopok, dobalap és torzítók !!!!!! VIDEO <<< VIDEO <<<
