AMERICA FUCK is the duo of dark electronic artist Lana Del Rabies – who sings and plays synth bass – and Brian Miller from such great bands as

Foot Village – a drum-n-shout assembly,

Gang Wizard – psychedelic experimental krautrock, new album out now and it’s astonishingly fuckin’ good,

and True Neutral Crew – the Deathbomb Arc Records experimental hip-hop supergroup. He plays drums and electronics.

STATEMENT: Our first album Fertility Clown calls upon the brash immediacy of 80s political punk, the swirling disembodiment of free jazz, shoegaze’s resonate escapism, and the grim despair of goth to create a set of emotional tones that simultaneously are cooperative and combative.

LANA DEL RABIES is the solo dark experimental electronic project of American media artist Sam An. She creates rhythmic chaos from digital and analog sources. Combines beats, noise, synths and a passion for horror soundtracks into a futuristic brand of goth that still loves the technologically curious days of early death rock.

My hope – the only hope really – is that Trump in office will reveal himself for what he really is, and that the public will roundly and unequivocally reject him and everything he stands for – his terrible policies, his jingoism, his arrogance, his childishness, his lies, his prejudices and his small-mindedness. In rejecting Trump we’ll also start to take down the whole malignant media-political structure that so lovingly nurtured him.

As I’ve written before, I believe that Trump can turn out to be not the beginning of a long decline, but the end of one – the turning point. For 40 years we’ve been sliding into a deepening pit of inequality, fear-driven nationalism and conservatism, and mostly not noticing.

Trump’s presidency could inadvertently change that – not because he’s going to do anything right but because his election is energising people to come to grips with the fact that their political system is fundamentally broken and it’s time to do something about it.”

He is also very witty and I like to think the same of myself. The second, the Moor, comes from the characters Aaron the Moor and Othello, both outsiders because of their skin color. I’ve felt like an outsider since I began to form my self-awareness, because of my half-white, half-black heritage, and because I always seemed to think so much differently than everyone else.”
