There are two talented Hungarian bands makrohang and 12Z. Makrohang is a noisy rock trio and plays „jazz for metalheads.” 12Z is an „improvised and experimental yet theme based jamming trio with psychedelia flavoured mondo-gothic hauntology.” They will play together in JazzaJ Crash Series in Budapest at Mika Tivadar Mulató on April 2.  Facebook

Sonic Chicken 4 was a French garage punk band „before garage punk bands had booking agencies, five-page hospitality riders and tuners…” Their posthumous album was recorded in 2009 by King Khan and was continously re-set and re-postponed until this year, but meanwhile the band stopped his activity.

Mixed Band Philantrophist was a project of English industrial noise group The New Blockaders. From their anti-manifesto: „It is our duty to blockade and induce others to blockade: Anti-music, anti-art, anti-books, anti-films, anti-communications. We will make anti-statements about anything and everything. We will make a point of being pointless…” The Mixed Band of Philantrophist is an international noise conspiracy (or anti-conspiracy). The Impossible Humane album is a sound collage, made from assembled tape recordings of Merzbow, Controlled Bleeding, Nurse With Wound, Etant Donnes and same industrial and noise artists.

It was released in 1987. Reissue with two bonus tracks by Staubgold. 12″ vinyl, only 400 copies. Listen to it entirely. So big, so fun!

They said: moonshine pop: „esoteric, whimsical, volatile, evil little sister of the famous “sunshine pop” of Califorina.” Inspired by the first wave of psychedelia, kraut rock and music of the 60s cinema (esp.Morricone, Basil Kirchin). With a bunch of old instruments and lost illusions on the path which lead nowhere.

When I have heard to their music via internet I thought it’s too abstract jazz rock for me, but when I have seen them on stage there was a very different feeling. It was a strange rock’n’roll experience.

There are two Portuguese bands. Black Bombaim plays heavy psychedelic rock with folk elements, La La La Ressonance plays experimental music. They went into the woods together and made a record.
