There are no many things to say about CAZZURILLO, one girl mess from Grinchland. She just composes melodramatic popular songs and performs them on her voice, guitar, bass guitar, drum machine and noises with visual smash up whenever/ however/ wherever/ whoever she wants. Nevertheless CAZZURILLO is still convinced to be an atypical composer and performer, but the soup is always the same old minestrone with Syd Barett, Sex Pistols, Lydia Lunch or Nirvana.

was a psychobilly punk band in Philadelphia from the late 80s up to 1995. Next year 12 Golden Country Greats was released by Ween with Ben Vaughn as producer.

The band was reformed in 2012, and in 2016 they have „returned to rock action with a vengeance, having recently played a string of calamitous live shows and a new 7” EP, a rollicking, raucous heartfelt celebration of the music of teen pop idol Fabian Forte, and the golden age of Philadelphia rock ‘n’ roll.”

Fabian’s music career lasted exactly so far while Elvis Presley as a sergeant of US 3rd Armoured Division served in Western Germany between 1959-60. A short film about Fabian, the manufactured idol.

Stomping Nick Jackman is a one-man-band from Lyttelton (Delaney Davidson also from there), New Zealand, who fuses primitive garage punk with rhythm and blues, boogie-woogie and Appalachian folk. The latter merges the Black, English, Irish and Scotch music traditions with the coal miners’ joy, sorrow and anger. And what is boogie-woogie? The phrase maybe comes from Bantu term „Mbuki Mvuki”. Mbuki: „to take off in flight”; Mvuki: „to dance wildly, as if to shake off one’s clothes”.

„I have tried to get a band like the Blues Grenade together with other people in the past but found it hard to find people who could understand the primitive blues aesthetic.” So he sings and plays harmonica, guitar and drums all at the same time, the old school way, without the aid of loop pedals, backing tracks, or any of those other fancy tricks. „The one-man-bands Joe Hill Louis and Doctor Ross are big influences – my act is based on these two artists.” But „The Gun Club would have had the biggest influence on me. Jeffrey Lee Pierce is the prophet. ”

but if you listen to one of their albums the second song: so good, third one: so-so, forth: boring. I could not listen to a Liminanas album to end yet. And I like this style. I hope I will do it in the case of the new album. Malamore will be released on Because Music in April.
