is an Australian literally DIY indie rock band, formed in 1984. They have never had a manager or agent and never signed a recording deal. The NME wrote about their first 7” EP in 1987: „I’m in love with the girl singer’s bittersweet intonations, I’m in love with the boy’s clattering percussion, I’m in love with the off-pitch trumpet and recorder, I’m in love with the singing bass, I’m in love with the goddam WHOLE!” Here is their new album by Chapter Music

“LA’s Soft Metals formed in 2009 after Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall met at a DJ night and connected over their obsession with analog synthesizers and the shadowy, sultry, untamed expressions of underground electronic music.” They get inspiration from experimental electronics industrial minimal synth pop psych krautrock house techno music.

The SACW is the solo project of the Australian musician, Craig Dermody. I have been following with attention to his works since his Para Vista Social Club LP (2011).  Not long ago he moved to New York.

I have listened to it many times. It was not a difficult thing because the Yes! is a very good record. The music is indie rock surely. I very don’t like this phrase and write it with fear because the „indie” labelled musical products have place in the trashcan largely. I could write: alternative rock, but this term repels me in like manner. Well, I can’t rank it to other class, but the Binidu is high above the indie rock category. His music comes to my mind the Deerhoof and the French band is comparable to them. Fresh and playful music. I feel the atmosphere of his birthplace: in July 2012 the trio took his summer residency in a hunter cabin in the Alps, 10m away from the lake Aiguebelette:

Reputedly this is a long awaited single of Tyler Jon Tyler. Reputedly it is one of the best garage pop bands in Chicago. They say: we play minimal rock/pop, punk. They: bass – Nathan from Pony; drums – Tom from Daily Void and an actress, Rebecca Flores – guitar, vocal, text. Such as the Raincoats, but the early Breeders is coming in my mind.
