Holy Mountain 7" single by Controlgroupco
Gibby Haynes the singer of Butthole Surfers releases a 7" single on Valentine Day. This is a cover of Adrenalin OD
Reply: Paula H. Satán – The singer of the JC Satán

The band is half Italian-half French. How it happened?
I and Arthur met each other in Italy in 2008, I used to organize gigs in Torino and I booked a lot of French bands (especially from Bordeaux). Arthur played in The Meatards at the time. Later, I went to Bordeaux to visit Arthur and some other friends and one day we recorded some stupid songs with Dorian, his roommate. When we released the first LP „Sick of Love” on Slovenly (2010), we thought we need a band and play live shows. Some line up changed since, but now we are 5, all living in Bordeaux.
How get on the Italian and French tempers side by side in the band?
The French say all the time that they got better cheese and better wine. We just keep silent, we don’t say anything about it. We know the best cheese and best wine come from Italy, no need to talk about it.
Which were your previous bands? And what is your other projects now?
Arthur played in really lots of bands here in Bordeaux, like Meatards, Polar Strong, Hoodlum, Fatals … Now, he plays in Crane Angels, also with Dorian and Romain. Ali got also some other bands, like La Secte du Futur and Macabre, her solo project. Dorian played in a hip hop band called Le Pingouin and he has his own project called Pere Dodudaboum, a kind of heavy nintendo electro music. Romain played in a lot of shitty bands before, like a funk core band called Sexy Chocolat. I never had any band and I don’t have any now, except JCS.
And the non-music things?
Everybody is really focused in the music and trying to live from it, except me: I am working in a crazy bar/restaurant as a cook. And I like to draw, even if I’m doing it less than before. Arthur is really into the tattoos too.
What are your favourite musics at the moment?
I can talk just for me, right now I really like hip-hop/pop/trash music (or I don’t know how to classify it). Bands like Brooke Candy, Die Antwoord, TNGHT, Lakutis, Buraka Som Sistema and so on. And I always love garage bands like Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, Yussuf Jerusalem, Magnetix, Movie Star Junkies and so on…
Please write me your musical and (sub)cultural course of life in key-word!

The Australian Tom Morgan has played a good few bands for example the Smudge, Godstar, Sneeze, Givegoods. He is internationally well-known from his collaboration with the Lemonheads frontman, Evan Dando. They wrote jointly quite a few songs to the Lemonheads breakthrough albums: It’s a Shame About Ray (1992) and Come on Feel The Lemonheads (1993). He has a solo album now:

Dan Friel (who was a member in the experimental noise rock band, Parts And Labor) made his solo album about the streets of Brooklyn. He wrote the songs in his mind in the streets while made some records by phone too. The style is öööö experimental lo-fi electronic. For example the records made by phone, a 12 years old PC (run OS9) or a Yamaha keyboard from 1984. Thumper from Total Folklore LP by Thrill Jockey
