“Chinese Whispers is a party game in which a whispered message is passed around a circle in the expectation that, in the telling, it will become comically distorted or exaggerated by the time it completes the circuit. In English, Chinese Whispers has become an idiomatic expression describing how a story passed from person to person will, inevitably, evolve or mutate in unpredictable ways. With Lady From Shanghai, the goal was to meticulously apply a Chinese Whispers methodology to the composition and recording of a coherent and complex musical work.

In the studio, the individual musician must be sequestered, provided with the minimum of information and protected from suggestion and influence. All that he can know must be restricted to the state of the composition at the stage of its evolution that the Producer chooses to engage him. As much as possible, composition should occur during the recorded performance. To facilitate, the Producer may need to lie, misdirect, misinform or confuse the musician. It may be helpful to move the goal posts at the last moment. The musician should not be allowed to see the Big Picture until the composition exists in a near finished form, and, ideally, only after he has contributed to it. The musician should be alone with his thoughts, uncertain but determined. Isolated. The goal should be to capture the unique and distinctive voice of the individual as he struggles to cobble. Only once over the course of the entire Lady From Shanghai project did any two band members find themselves in the same building at the same time. Even then, Michele and Robert were not in the same room at the same time for more than thirty-seven seconds. Neither heard what the other was playing. Conversation was limited to pleasantries. I shooed them away brusquely.ps: The difference between a musician and a civilian is that the musician will go out on stage in front of 10,000 people and make a complete ass of himself and then go out and do it all over again the next night without a second thought. “

és most január hatodikán jelent meg az új EP-m, ‘Eucharisztikus Faszlyukbaszás’ címmel. 19 percnyi tömény harsh noise/power electronics, hangos, és arcba mászó formában. Aki eddig azt gondolta, hogy a kísérleti zajzene az egy gyengédebb, és befelé forduló, művészkedő dolog, annak a nézetét ez az anyag megfogja változtatni.
A jelenleg még csak letölthető formátumban létező anyagot a Halalnihil bandcamp.com oldaláról lehet beszerezni 3 euróért. A teljes EP mellé a csomagban van még a 20121029-es Halalnihil koncertből egy részlet, meg egy 8 oldalas PDF booklet az összes dalszöveggel, és a hozzájuk társuló képgyűjteménnyel (+18).

A Piresian Beach rövid történeteValami Easy Basic együttes vezetője kérte, hogy szálljon be gitárosnak, ami azért meglepő, mer nem tudott gitározni. Az illetőt Zsófi zenei tájékozottsága ragadta meg ennyire. Ennek lett eredménye, hogy barátja kölcsöngitárján elkezdett tanulni. De mire színpadképes szintre került, az említett együttes vezetője már másképp gondolta. Szerencsére. Mert a kislemez PB oldali első száma annyira jó, hogy mindkét fordulaton élmény hallgatni. Na de, mikor megtudta, hogy mégse, akkor kitalálta a nevében a híres közvélemény kutatásban a lakosság által nagy százalékban elutasított, nem létező piréz bevándorlókra utaló Piresian Beachet, az egyszemélyes háztartási szobazenekart, aminek koncertképes felállása is lett, és akkora sikert aratott, hogy az rnr666 bulira érkező francia Catholic Spray is örült, hogy együtt fognak játszani. De a PB jelen pillanatban sajnos szünetel, mert Zsófi nem talált hozzá társakat, ami elszomorította. Ebből a depresszióból születetett utolsó albuma és az elhatározás, hogy ezt így tovább ne. Most a nemrég alakult Summer Schatziesban zenél, aminek életképességét jelzi, hogy máris Barcelonában fognak koncertezni. De reméljük, hogy a JC Satán / Piresian Beach kislemez sikere új életet lehel a PB-be.
Január 14.-én Summer Schatzies koncert Budapesten a Szférában.

In order that call the record companies’ attention to the band they self-released 2 self-recorded albums and a 7" in 1978, 80 and 79. The try have been successful. Original the band name was Ten High & The Trashed Romeos, but after 2 albums Ten High died in 2009. The debut record of The Trashed Romeos to pay hommage to Ten High alias Jim Dickinson, who was a musician and record producer. He worked together Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Aretha Franklin, Flaming Lips, The Replacements, Mudhoney, Meat Puppets, Rocket From The Crypt, John Spencer, Willie Nelson, Joe King Carrasco, Mojo Nixon, Ry Cooder, Bob Dylan and he plays on piano in the Rolling Stones song, Wild Horses. The Trashed Romeos members are playing in Tiger High, Reigning Sound, Compulsive Gamblers too. 60’s garage rock’n’roll from Memphis.
