A celebration of the dawn of the Italian commercial television, through the use of its synthetic sounds/effects and its involuntary hypnotic potential by CADEO. It hides two main figures of the Roman scene: members of other projects such as System Hardware Abnormal, Hiroshima Rocks Around, Maximillian I, Micropupazzo, Polysick and TheAwayTeam. 80s style minimal electronic music

Further Reductions is a very beauty speaking name of a Shawn O’Sullivan‘s band. He is one of the important figures in New Yorker analogue synth scene with his L.I.E.S. label; personal projects: Vapauteen, 440ppm; and bands: Led Er Est, Civil Duty and Further Reductions with his wife Katie Rose. During the listening of the latter band’s new album I noted these: a little tribal electro industrial, ebm, techno.

LAMC split 7″ series No 11. Mikal Cronin / WAND. A great split single for the fans of good noisy garage rock.
Mikal Cronin (Charlie and The Moonheart, Epsilons, Party Fowl, Okie Dokie, Ty Segall backing band) is a more and more known figure of „on-the-ground” musical life. His track is a Nirvana-like garage rock. In accordance with order of the series the A-side artist suggets a band to the B-side. Cronin picked the WAND. It was a very good pick. This is the band’s debut song, listen!

At first there was an unlucky name: Pangea. It has changed to a stupid one: together Pangea. Bay area soft garage rock.

Gianni Giublena Rosacroce is the solo project of Stefano Isaia. He is known as the singer of the great Italian rock’n’roll band, Movie Star Junkies. Dedalo666, his mate in this project is also from the mentioned band. They make together mystic East-Mediterranean and North-African style* music on piano, marimba, clarinet, cans, glasses, bass and acoustic guitars, drums and percussions. (*Except for the first song, it’s an Indochinese theme.)
Maria Violenza is a Sicilian, who makes electronic music under the influence of her homeland’s mixed cultural heritage. She has written: electro// arabian//punk. I say: lo-fi dark arabesque synth punk.

6th of June in 1944 was the D-Day. Its aim was Berlin. Some decades later almost same allies dropped bombs on Belgrade.

Sixth June is a Berlin based („Here, you’d think about where to go out,”) Serbian („in Serbia you have to think about making a place to go out to first. Art is one of the last things there, still. Nobody thinks it’s important.”) duo of Laszlo Antal and Lidija Andonov. 80s style cold minimal synth pop

After his second album Seasick Steve won the Award for Best Breakthrough Act in UK in 2007. Then he made an all sold out UK tour, included performances at the Royal Albert Hall, The Edinburgh Queens Hall, the Grand Opera House in Belfast or the London Hammersmith Apollo. He was 66 at the time of breakthrough.
Before the success he was an itinerant street musician in France and Scandinavia. His first album, entitled Cheap, was released in Norway in 2001. He arrived to Europe from USA, where he was born in 1941. At 8 he learned to play the guitar from K.C. Douglas, who worked at his grandfather’s garage. K.C. was influenced by the great delta blues musician, Tommy Johnson. K.C. had a big hit in 1949, the Mercury Boogie. It was later renamed to Mercury Blues

Seasick Steve would be a hobo, travelled by freight trains sure, and worked as a seasonal farm worker, but sometimes joined various travelling shows. In the 1960s he started touring and performing with fellow blues musicians. Then he worked as session musician, studio engineer and producer for lil independent labels around Seattle in the 90s…
Some fellow musicians of his new album: John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin, bass, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, organ), Jack White (White Stripes) and Luther Dickinson (Black Crows, guitar)…

„My only friend was an older woman that I met at a job.
She was an old Pum-Pum from the Tutu tribe.
But she moved eventually and left me with a big Yamaha.
She stole the keyboard from a Bumba Clot.
It was my first keyboard. Things got weird after that.”
„I get the 80’s reference a lot, which I love because 80’s music is so good.”

The Far-Out Fangtooth based on the common range of interest of his members: B-Movies, avant-garde, dark psychedelia, gothic erotica, Cramps, and early Creation Records release. (The influential British independent label released the first records of Jesus & Mary Chain, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis…) Their first album was Sonic Youth-like, the second is Christian Death-like with a little taste of Jesus & M.C.

Musumeci was a raw light industrial minimal-synth duo in Torino in the middle of the 80s. They produced two demo tapes: Schwarz Morgen in 1985, and Zusammen in 1986. The 2 in 1 now by Mannequin Records

At the time, back in the early seventies the Vietnam war was still raging, Susan Dietrich and her husband Joel and their tiny daughter were political exiles living like refugees in the States, terrified that Joel would be imprisoned for having resisted the draft. For nine years they had subsisted on spare change and meager sales of their artwork on the streets. Finding a dilapidated, old accordion in a junk store was the major cause in turning her life around. And „the Space Lady began her odyssey on the streets of San Francisco in the late 70s, playing an accordion and dressed flamboyantly, transmitting messages of peace and harmony. Following the theft of her accordion, she invested in a then-new Casio keyboard…” and plays minimal prog lo-fi space pop. Two songs of her early street sets:
