Május 17-én már másodjára jönnek RNR666 buliba a kedvenc ruszkijaink, a Total Rejects. Ezen az estén fellép velük a szintén orosz hc-punk, a Fake Fun és a szegedi (általam a plakáton teljesen tévesen leszintipankozott) Testrablók. Nekik, a Testrablóknak hála, előbb Szegedre mennek az oroszok, majd hozzánk Budapestre a Gólyába. A Total Rejects frontemeberével Igorral (aki az alábbi fotón vízszintes testhelyzetben látható) pofáztam egy nagyot így pár nappal a buli előtt, olyan dolgokról amik talán titeket is érdekelhetnek napjaink Oroszországáról és a mai orosz rockandrollról.

RNR666: Igor, te Permből származol, amiről kb annyit tudok, hogy kurva messze van: Budapesttől több mint 3200 kilométerre keletre (összehasonlításképpen: Barcelona-Budapest nagyjából 1900 km), de mesélj, mi a helyzet Permben? Van ott nagy punkzenei élet?

Igor: Now not. But in past we did a so called Bad taste crew bookency were we booked a local little garage punk/noise scene – The Powlers, Lo-Fi Woman, Twisted Superheroes, B-Movie Massacre, Killer Nerd etc. I played in most of them on different instruments . This series of parties was called Bad Taste party.

RNR666: Na és úgy általában mi a helyzet Oroszországban? Hova menjen az aki bele akar botlani az orosz undergroundba?

Igor: It were always a big megapolices like Moscow and St Petersbourg most of the scene is concentrated there. But there is also a strong punk scene in Nizhniy Novgorod nowadays. In a province cities scenes are mostly concentrated around 1 energetic person. In the city Kirov it is concentrated around Pavel Myatny ( bands – Superkozly, Operciya Almaznoye Bikini etc), in Nizniy Novgorod around Vanya Chuvash (bands – Pospish Potom, Muzhik etc)

RNR666: Ti a Total Rejects-szel a klasszik 77-es punkot toljátok. Vannak nagy újdonságok oroszországban, bandák, stilusok, amik csak rátok jellemző?

Igor: I don’t think there is something new – special russian style. Even soviet underground bands sounded like their favorite western bands but much more lo-fi. For Total Rejects – we decided to play a straight western garage punk with a big influence a dirty punk 77 bands like Germs and GG Allin and as loud as possible. We want every our show to be an extreme attraction.

RNR666: Oroszországot valahogy úgy képzelem, hogy nálatok valaki valakivel valamiért mindig verekszik. Vannak nagy harcok a szcénák között?

Igor: It was in 1990s when young guys fought on the streets. For examples punks against rappers – it was super funny. Now not. Everything is peaceful in music and people are openminded.

RNR666: Most a Fake Funnal jöttök, de legutóbb, 2018 nyarán Leo Fishhead cimborátok (szentpétervári trash-blues onemanband) volt itt veletek és lépett fell a Total Rejects előtt az Aurórában. Mi van Leoval? Vége a barátságnak? Befejezte a rockandroll ipart?

Igor: No, he has some shows in Spain soon. He has no problems with concerts and tours. When we played first time with Fake Fun last autmn we drunk a lot after and decided to plan a split tour for spring, so it was planned even before our winter balkan tour with Leo Fishhead. Unfortunatly there is no 10th place in a van((( He really wanted to join … but may be next time in Budapest!

RNR666: Mi most az interneten pofázunk, viszont elég aggasztó híreket hallani arról, hogy az oroszok hamarosan lekapcsolódnak a netről és lesz egy saját, különbejáratú hálózatotok. Ti mit tudtok erről? Para van? Hogy fogtok facebookozni, bandcampezni, instagrammozni? – és még sorolhatnám…

Igor: Don’t worry there will be no shit like that. It was one of the deputies who offered some sort of that but everybody laughed at him, everything is a western spy propoganda hahahah! you know our stupid prime minister is instagram and twitter addicted. the real thing is one deputy offered to close facebook in Russia and thats all but it was not supported by the government. Never heard about closing worldwide internet.  I also don’t believe that in germany every second guy is a gay as it is said here)))) I prefer to filter political news from the both sides!
