Satan Panonski was the Yugoslavian GG Allin. He became a punk in ’78 during his trip in Germany. Then he started a band. In 1981 he killed a local mafioso in a fight in self-defence by 15 stabs. He was sentenced 12 years, but instead of prison he went to a mental hospital for 8 years. There he started to write and paint. After his release he continued his musical career as Satan Panonski. After the broke up of Yugoslavian civil war the openly gay Satan joined the Croatian National Guard as a soldier. In 1992 January he left a bar totally pissed and slipped over ice on front of it, his Kalashnikov went off and hit him fatally in his head.

SICKROOM & AFRICANTAPE

sickafricThe first is an American, the second is a French label. Their common V/A album is free download. It’s from 2012, but there are lots of very good unknown bands, anyway for me. For example The Cesarians, Three Second Kiss etc. Fine noisy music in various styles:

obnoxObnox is the solo project of Bim Thomas from Bassholes, This Moment is Black History & Puffy Areolas. He wanted to do a recording that raw and blown out, done quickly for cheap. Opened up the four track tape machine with a lot of scotch whiskey and reefer around…

2 x 7″ by Slovenly

2005. Thessaloniki, Greece. A crew of refined musicians records an album, makes 80 compact disc copies, hand-delivers them to some local men of taste. Then their musical career broke in two by the weather. They didn’t drive to their only show because was too cold out. Seven years after the owner of the Slovenly Records heard his CD in a van during the euro tour of his label two Greek bands, the Bazooka and Gay Anniversary. And then they were in Budapest on rnr666 party.

És akkor most meglátom EZT ITT!

15 YEARS AFTER HERE IS A NEW OBLIVIANS SONG!

Bazooka – Self Titled LP

The Slovenly is a famous record label (more famous than the rnr666 records)  and as the Hungarians say: they don’t roll the shit. The Slovenly release the great Greek garage punk band, the Bazooka’s debut LP now. By the way, have you known that the bazooka is a homemade brass instrument? The anti-tank weapon got his name after it because of his similar form. Well. Last year the Bazooka gig was a smash hit in Budapest at rnr666 party. They are coming from Volos, from where the Argonauts started to find the Golden Fleece very long ago. Perhaps owing to an antique economic crisis. Well. Why I tell these? Because of I have to write something from them besides that this is a fucking good album and raw wild garage punk. Pump up the volume and click the player!

7″ by Manglor Records

When I have read from Thee Tee Pees that they are widely regarded by many as the worst band in Los Angeles, then I have known that they will be very OK for me. Their sound is determined by a Farfisa organ, an Italian made instrument which was popular in the 60’s. Thereafter the synthesizers superseded those. But in the late 70’s the Farfisas were rediscovered by such bands like the Blondie, B52’s, Suicide or Talking Heads.

Saját lakásában gyilkolták meg Király Tamást, a punk-divattervezőt

„Az első magyar acid party 1989. szeptember 13-án, Király Tamás underground divattervező születésnapi buliján került megrendezésre. A helyszín az Andrássy úti Fiatal Művészek Klubja volt, a zenét – kb. 400 meghívott vendég előtt – az amszterdami Roxy két rezidens DJ-je szolgáltatta. Minden addig ismert szórakozási forma kellékeitől eltérő eszköztár: UV-reagens test- és ruhafestékek, füstgép, stroboszkópok tették a partit emlékezetessé a jelenlévők számára. Ez az esemény jelentette a magyar techno-house kultúra 0 óra 00 percét.
Ezt az embert veszítettük ma el.”

Király Tamás jobbra, napszemüvegben.

A ma este megjelent sajtóértesülések szerint,
2013. április 7-én hajnalban ismeretlen elkövető olyan súlyosan  bántalmazta Király Tamást Budapest VIII. kerületi otthonában, hogy a 60 éves divattervező a helyszínen életét vesztette. A rendőrök betörésre utaló jeleket nem találtak.
Ha volt valaha Magyarországon olyan divattervező, akit megillet a punk-jelző, akkor az Király Tamás volt.
