A G E N D E R is a strange synth punk band in Australia. It has started as Romy Hoffman’s one woman lo-fi punk project. She’s also known as a hip-hop artist under the name of Macromantics. His project has morphed into a trio. On drums: experimental electronic musician Melissa Agate, aka Sanso-Xtro. After these it’s surprising that the bass player Yolanda DeRose is just from a simple garage rock band, Mass Culture Suicide. The second album „is a spillage of sexual secrets and the purging of perversions.” The first track is a little deceiving…

The singer and drummer met volatile French guitarist in London after he left an ad in their studio listing Television, Ennio Morricone and “everything at DFA Records” as influences. (DFA is an electronic dance music label, co-founded by James Murphy of LCD Sound System.) The most interesting person is the bass player, Jade Spranklen, who is also playing for the British pop singer Whinnie Williams (aka Sunday Girl), and she is an excellent illustrator, but cannot draws free style rap. But Felt Tip is an indie rock band like XTC or Gang of Four.

Ed preformed solo for 3 years traveling the country with his voice and a drum. He was asked to play a rave in Baltimore. Looking to expand his performance, he asked Devlin to join him onstage with his bass. Since then the two have been making minimal post punk rock. And it’s so strange than pairing of David Bowie and King Diamond, because they’re their favourite artists. Ed Schrader’s Music Beat

Venezuelan born experimental electronic musician KID606 was one of the first acts signed to Mike Patton’s Ipecac Recordings. He is most closely associated with the glitch, IDM, hardcore techno and breakcore scenes, but his music is primely inspired by industrial and metal music like Napalm Death, Godflesh, Ministry, Kyuss and Black Sabbath. He has mentioned such diverse artists like influences as Cramps, Autechre, Black Flag, Aphex Twin, Blondie, Mr. Oizo, James Chance, Techno Animal, Giorgo Moroder, Lee Scratch Perry, Throbbing Gristle or Steve Reich. His official remixes show similar diversity: Locust, Depeche Mode, Foeuts, Peaches, Amon Tobin, Super Furry Animals, Dälek and more. He has founded his Tigerbeat6 label in San Diego, where he was raised. At that time he worked with legendary local label Vinyl Communications, where his first album was released in 1998.
His latest album is influenced by Yacht Rock like Christopher Cross, Doobie Brothers, Toto, and charming electronica like Mike Ink, The Orb, Oval, Border Community, The Field, and Tangerine Dream. Now here is its remix EP: free download for a limited time

Dick Diver‘s members are from such great Aussie bands as Boomgates, Total Control, UV Race or Lower Plenty. Easy melodic indie rock or jangle pop

A celebration of the dawn of the Italian commercial television, through the use of its synthetic sounds/effects and its involuntary hypnotic potential by CADEO. It hides two main figures of the Roman scene: members of other projects such as System Hardware Abnormal, Hiroshima Rocks Around, Maximillian I, Micropupazzo, Polysick and TheAwayTeam. 80s style minimal electronic music

The band was born in foking Notthingham, out of part frustration and part accident, it quickly found its feet as an aggressive verbal onslaught on all that is contrived and connected to the foking day-to-day hammer of low paid employment and domestic situations arising from that foking trap.

OOIOO is a band of Yoshimi P-We (drummer of noise punk, chaos fun band UFO or Die, founding member of avant-garde noise rock Boredoms). It was allegedly founded as a fake band for a magazine photo shoot in 1995. The joke has turned special cosmic tribal music, now in Japanese gamelan style

Lust For Youth started as the Swedish Hannes Norrvide’s cold wave synth-pop project. It has became a trio. Their music is like the eraly Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, New Order or Desireless (do you remember Voyage, voyage?). This “record deals with the rootless, sometimes almost inhuman, nature of traveling and touring. Hotel rooms and strangers’ beds, drugs and clubs, and the impossibility of living a regular life.”
„International” LP, CD on Sacred Bones. 3rd track is a remix.
Little Big Chief Records is an independent label and distro specializing in bullshit. It is based out of a hole of a town in middling Virginia.

Harsh Pre-War Blues and Gospel Trash by Ragtime Frank from Australia. He uses his voice like Derek Bailey (English avant-garde guitarist and leading figure in the free improvisation movement) uses his guitar, his guitar like Joan La Barbara (American vocalist and composer known for her non-conventional vocal techniques) uses her voice, pairs up with a drummer who handles his kit like the bloke from The Monks, had he just nearly drowned in a pool of bourbon… 2 tracks from the forthcoming LP
Hollywood Autopsy was an art punk band in Wisconsin between 1981-83. Two contemporary views about their sole album:
„Mining a sixties garage territory somewhere between Jad Fair’s atonal art damage and Flipper’s molasses music, Wisconsin’s Hollywood Autopsy have produced an album of deliberately bad, artsily, anti-arty, aharmonic, and droning low-fi.” „PiL meets the Shaggs, Cramps, and Butthole Surfers on a bad ’60s acid trip, stumble over Flipper’s corpse, and rise (barely) above the basement. Enter the ghost of the 13th Floor Elevators, and you have it.” Reissue

“Clppng: make party music for the club you wish you hadn’t gone to, the car you don’t remember getting in, and the streets you don’t feel safe on.”

Death Grips have opened the doors to the electro-industrial hip-hop bands. My favourite is Clipping, one of the best among them.

Joel Gion is tambourine man of crazy psychedelic band Brian Jonestown Massacre. But he has also an own band Joel Gion & The Primary Colours. But this single is a solo effort, before his second solo album by Reverberation…
that Zsófia Németh is not here to make music to run away from boredom. These tunes prove her progression of writing better and better pop songs, in a shell of garage and psychedelic rock.
cause the ending song ‘VITAMINS’ reminds me of nothing else but a funeral procession. Despite being the heaviest song on the EP, or the heaviest ever written by PIRESIAN BEACH, it is also very catchy, which can leave you in awkward situations. Like whistling it on your regular summertime visit to the cemetery.” French video maker Psyche Coaster has just made a video for this song
You can download the EP from Bandcamp for free but you can support PIRESIAN BEACH with a donation as well. (Money will go on cheap guitars or expensive beers). And buy PIRESIAN BEACH / JC SATÁN split 7″ with 2×2 songs.
