International musical community, magazine, concert series, booking and micro record label RNR666 was born from some coincidences as two weekly radio show in Budapest in May 2005. 9th Birthday Party is coming on 27th May with two great bands: Los Vigilantes (Puerto Rico) and Paint Fumes (USA). The one plays tuneful, dynamic Latino garage punk with rockabilly and doo wop elements, the second is a dissonance, psychedelic mix of Velvet Underground and Stooges. Both of them are released by one of the most important underground garage rock/punk labels, Slovenly Records.

LOS VIGILANTES are from Puerto Rico and play Latino garage punk with rockabilly and doo wop elements. PAINT FUMES‘ music is like a dissonance, psychedelic mix of Velvet Underground and Stooges. Both are in the Slovenly Records‘ roster.

French garage rock band? I have no idea of it, but let’s go there, will be high spirits and beer sprinkling, it’s cert. Psychedelic band from Italy? After break-up of two cultic Italian garage rock bands The Boilers and The Ultra Twist some members of those founded Big Mountain County. They play psychedelic garage rock’n’roll, sometimes it’s like the early Butthole Surfers, then they play a blues from Robert Johnson.
Dope Calypso play blues punk’n’roll with members of Kollaps and Haunebu. Their music reminds me of Night Terrors, Superhelicopter and Black Magic Six. Debut show.
