– I’m Oksana Zmorovytch, i was born in 1992, study in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (not an art school). BLABLARISM is a solo-project. started running on the brink of 2011–2012, in ten days I’m having my debut concert. I don’t define the genre; I’d like to see fewer listeners to bother with such questions.

– Ukrainian people open to listen the music like this?
– I’m not sure, I suppose you should ask the Ukrainian people.
– Are real underground clubs/partys in ukrainia?
– I live in Kiev, there are real clubs here, but I don’t like parties, I prefer spending time with my dogs.
– What do you think about KAZANTIP-nation? Have you ever been there? This is "real" or that just "ibiza of ukraina"?
– I didn’t see the Kazantip festival, but I had a summer holiday in Shchelkine when I was six. That was one of the darkest summers in my life.
– What think the ukrainain underground musicians (like you) about the PUSSY RIOT-affair? do you know/saw her on stage?
– I have no idea what Ukrainian underground musicians think about the Pussy Riot affair. This subject hasn’t found its refuge in my thoughts.

– What is your favourite old/new ukrainan band?
– I don’t listen to Ukrainian music. I’m excited about everything that has been happening to music since the late 18th century. Speaking of modern music, I feel some attachment to the gothic ’80s, dreamy and shoegazy ’90s. I’m a bit disoriented by the eclectic 2000s – nevertheless, obviously, I feel their influence as well.

Rock in the Ukrainian Garages
Dimidron Novichenko (guitar), Genesis Shuher (bass) and Artich Barhatni (drums) are THE BEZZOOMMIES
We were formed in late 2011. Planned to be a canonical raw garage punk band, but after “Sovetskoe Shampanskoe” began to appear something new, not similar to what we’ve done. We called it post-garage. Now we have songs which are a mix of psychedelic rock, post-punk, no wave and so on which you may hear on "Garmata"
We don’t have any garage scene in Ukraine. Our new underground scene is developing at the initial level. There are few garage-based bands: The Claps (use and unite the elements of garage, punk and indie in their music trying to revival the true spirit of 60’s and 70’s), Straytones (have roots in traditional blues and garage rock stylings, with some influences of psychedelic, surf and old school punk rock), Turnaround (combining blues, psychedelic, classic, progressive, stoner and garage rock) but there is nothing like "scene".
Sum total: 4 bands with 3-3 members, all together are 10 men and 2 women.
