Trouble Vs Glue is an Italian duo from Rome where usually Toni plays on drums, and Lady Maru trifles with keys and sometimes strings.

They said „sound like the Residents with a punk drummer, in others like a weird Japanese electronic pop band from the ’80s, while some other tracks bring us back to the no-wave of Lizzy Mercier Descloux and DNA.” I tell: Trouble Vs Glue is such as the electro-clash duo Stereo Total in experimental mood.

You can find a pretty different musical background behind the members. Toni has a noise rock band Hiroshima Rocks Around, and his solo project Mai Mai Mai is an experiment based on Italian Occult Psychedelia, which is rooted in Italian horror movies, giallo films, spaghetti westerns and local folklore. His debut album was mixed by Jamie Stewart, aka Xiu Xiu.

Lady Maru is a techno and deep house musician and DJ. Very interesting her collaborative no wave nu disco project with Cascao (who also is a contributor on the new album of T Vs G). They have a deep house cover of Death Valley 69, a masterpiece of Sonic Youth and Lydia Lunch. Find it!

The Come n Go Tumbling Heights / Voodoo Rhythm Records (2016)

They are my favorites from the Voodoo catalog (together with Roy & the MDC). This is their fourth album (here is the first, second and third); I was not very confident that it would get released, since they started to work on it during the summer of 2014, and I have not heard any news from them since. And then: bam! it came out. All of its hard-core 26 minutes – haha. Never mind that it is short as this is their best album so far; it has so much going on in it that it literally blows your mind. Then you keep playing it on and on so it blows your mind again. It’s got everything RnB, garage-trash, psychedelic stuff or hard core AC/DC-Rose Tattoo boogie, and such a mind blowing cover of Bad Brains (Attitude) that you will shit your pants!

Marcus Stehli (of Roy & the DMC) is responsible for the sound and all of the weird noises, so there can not be any complaints about that. The whole album has a distinct, drugged atmosphere, but in a smooth nice way. There is one 6-minute song called Lemmy, but all the rest are around one and a half to two minutes long. Oh, and one more thing: all the members love alcohol, and one of the guitarist is a fan of PALINKA in particular, except that he incorrectly believes it to be a Romanian drink. No, palinka is NOT Romanian, but a Hungarian drink!!! And here are the videos to prove it:

Jobb szélen, barátunk, a már sajnos feloszlott Catholic Spray egykori tagja, Antoine és másik két társa alkotja a triót. Antoine-t kértem meg, hogy válaszoljon pár kérdésre a Jessicával kapcsolatban!

– Tudom, hogy undorító kérdés, de lődd már be, hogy saját megítélésetek szerint, milyen stílust képviseltek? Ha úgy könnyebbnek érzed a válaszadást, akkor hasonlítsd a zenéteket mondjuk egy droghoz!

– A Jessica93 egy újtípusú post-wave-punk-grunge, egyenesen Párizsból, ha pedig kábítószerhez kéne hasonlítanom, mondjuk a krokodil és az mdma fincsi kis koktélját mondanám rá!

– Kikből áll a banda?

– Geoff Laporte szólóprojektjeként indult 2010-ben, aztán három album után „kibérelte” Maxot, mint basszusgitárost, a Dame Blencheből, aztán jöttem én másodgitárosnak, így lett teljes a felállás. A dobgép megmaradt: Jessica egyemberként utasítja el a humanoid dobosokat!

– Oké, de ki az a Jessica?!

– Geoffot hívnák Jessicának, ha lánynak születik – és ezt biztos forrásból, egyenesen az anyjától tudjuk!

mr sterile and his company, a bunch of various musicians who working together under the name of mr sterile Assembly from 2004. They have made their latest album as drum and bass duo, so the music is pretty minimal punk

which bring the very early NoMeansNo to my mind when it consisted of the two Wright brothers only. And also bring the Minutemen and English anarcho-punk group CRASS, not just because

On their previous album in 2011 there was a bigger assembly with a pretty eclectic music

There come the English avantgarde experimentalist Fred Frith, Dutch anarcho-punk-folk-jazz The Ex, Hungarian psych rock band Másfél and art punk Ápolók to my head. But I could say Captain Beefheart or the Bez Ladu a Skladu from Slovakia too. Or there is the Belgian Morzelpronk, but anyway „they have a distinctive, South Pacific sound based on unusual and urgent time signatures, repetitive heavy rhythms, and angular lyrics.” And it is highly entertaining.
