Josephine Foster is a modern American folk singer-songwriter and musician. She has started her musical career as a funeral and wedding singer, and aspired to become an opera singer. She has made music in various genres like psychedelic rock, early American folk and blues, Tin Pan Alley style music (American popular music of late 19 and early 20 century. Tin Pan Alley was the nickname of a specific place in Manhattan where the music publishing firms and stores were settled.).
